Hours:  40-71 hours per pay period; Days/afternons, rotating weekends, call
Department:  Materials Management
Description:  Responsible for processing and distributing stock supplies and forms to all nursing departments. Cleans, decontaminates, assembles, wraps and terminally sterilizes all reusable patient care equipment and instruments and supplies.

Qualifications:  High school diploma or equivalent. One year post-secondary school, Registered Central Supply Technician, or CRCST preferred. Prior experience in Sterile Processing/Decontamination, Materials Management or healthcare experience preferred. Working knowledge of medical equipment, and supplies. Willing and able to obtain CRCST certification within 1 year, upon completion employee will move into CRCST position. 400 hours or more experience in instrument handling, assembly, decontamination and sterilization preferred.
