Fairview Range Welcomes Individual, Child and Family Counselor

Fairview Range is pleased to welcome Laura Thronson, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), to its medical staff at Fairview Mesaba Clinics - Hibbing.  She comes to us with more than 15 years of experience in mental health. 

Thronson received her bachelor’s degree in Applied Psychology from Bemidji State University and master’s degree in Human Services with a specialty in mental health counseling from Capella University.  

Thronson provides individual therapy (for ages 5+), group therapy, family therapy and assessments while specializing in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), trauma, dual diagnosis, developmental delays, anger, reactive attachment, fetal alcohol syndrome, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, life transitions, autism, parenting, foster care, and adoption. 

“It is essential to me to deliver the highest quality of care to accomplish excellence,” says Thronson.  “I strive to provide a compassionate, professional, respectful, and open communication treatment environment.”

Thronson is a lifelong resident of the Iron Range and is excited to provide outpatient therapy services in our community.  She enjoys being with her family and pets, attending church, painting, and being outdoors.
